Framed within a sleek, rectangular outline, the textured silver heart pendant  adds a modern touch to the classic heart motif.

The surface pattern catches and reflects the light creating sparkle and shine like tiny little diamonds.

The texture is created by a process of retilculation. This involves repeatedly heating and cooling the metal making the surface molten and forming the distinctive surface pattern. Sometimes referred to as the Black Art of Metalsmithing  it is a very organic process, with no two pieces turning out the same.

I handcraft all my jewellery using eco-friendly sterling silver in my small Dorset workshop. I love letting creativity guide my designs, allowing the metal to take shape naturally.
